All Events: General information

Your Move Games has a New Venue for PTQ's: Charlestown Knights of Columbus

Brighton has served as a reliable location for many a tournament held by Rob Dougherty throughout the years. As qualifier tournaments grow, we're shifting to a larger, more convenient venue. The Charlestown location seats over 400 players, has ample free parking around the venue, and is less then a 10 minute walk from the Orange line platform of Community College (Take the pedestrian bridge over Rt 99 towards Charlestown, away from the city).

About Pro-Tour Qualifier Events

The one winner of each qualifier event grants you an invite to a Magic Pro Tour where players compete for over $230,000.00 of prize money. Main event contenders need to qualify through regional qualifiers held every weekend across the country. These events are popular, competitive formats for experienced Magic players to show their skill. This tournament season is Extended Constructed, which is likely to draw players from all over the country to compete. Players that place in the top 32 of these events will receive a prize payout of Zendikar booster packs based on overall performance and player attendance in the event. Players that are in the top 8 after regular swiss rounds will playoff in a single elimination playoff. Pro Tour Qualifiers will have exciting side events for those who can't make it for the start of the event or are out of prize contention and want to drop from the main event, including 8-mam booster drafts or constructed events for pack prizes. The first 16 players to drop from the main event will receive entry into the first 2 events for free! Pro-Tour San Juan

Pro Tour–San Juan - May 28-30, 2010

What is Extended Constructed?

Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards.

With the exception of basic land cards, a player’s combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic. (The five Ice Age block snow-covered lands -- Snow-Covered Plains, Snow-Covered Island, Snow-Covered Swamp, Snow-Covered Mountain, and Snow-Covered Forest -- are also basic lands. Note that snow-covered lands are permitted only in formats that allow expansions from the Ice Age block to be used.)

The following sets are legal in Extended Constructed:

The following cards are banned in Extended Constructed and may not be used:
